Mark your calendars! The Texas Lacy Game Dog Association will host its 2026 Blood Trailing Seminar in Concan, Texas, from February 20  through February 22, 2026. This educational weekend welcomes all dog breeds and offers valuable hands‑on learning for both novice and veteran handlers.

The event kicks off Friday afternoon, February 20, with an Obedience Introduction Session at 3 PM, setting the stage for a weekend of training, testing, and community. The main Blood Trailing Seminar takes place on Saturday, February 21, followed by United Blood Trackers (UBT) Level 1 and Level 2 Testing on Sunday, February 22. Participants will gain practical experience in tracking techniques and recovery work under expert guidance, with opportunities to test their skills in the field. Saturday evening brings everyone together for a dinner and live auction, with proceeds supporting the TLGDA Scholarship Fund.
